mixed bag of Cypriot birds

Cretzschmar's Bunting

only saw birds in breeding areas in the hills; in a week I only saw two Ortolans; looking back to 1996 between April 17th and May 1st I saw over 500 Ortolans in the same areas of Cyprus including a single flock of 150 by the Aspro dam -- have they gone the way of the Yellow-breatsed Bunting?
