Aircraft: USN: A3: Skywarrior

Operating from aircraft carriers, “The Whale,” as the aircraft became known served from the mid-1950s until it was retired in September 1991. The craft, with its many variants, were used for electronic warfare and tactical air reconnaissance, along with being used as a high capacity aerial refueling tanker.
