Aircraft: USN: A-7: “Corsair II”
The Ling-Temco-Vought A-7 Corsair II was a light attack aircraft, replacing the Douglas A-4 “Skyhawk” Introduced in February 1967; they were retired in 1991 from U.S. military service. Note, the A-7D designation served with the U.S. Air Force. The aircraft also served the Greek and Portuguese military.
