Aircraft: USN: EA-6B: Prowler
EA-6B Prowler is a twin-engine, four seat, mid-wing electronic warfare aircraft derived from the A-6 Intruder airframe. The aircraft was introduced in 1971 and the U.S. Navy withdrew the aircraft from service in June 2015. The U.S. Marines plane to operate the EA-6B until 2019. The aircraft provides an umbrella of protection for strike aircraft, ground troops, and ships by jamming enemy radar, electronic data links and communication.
