This presentation focused on the challenges to creating supply chain transparency and traceability at scale for critical raw materials (while also preserving commercial confidentiality), finding meaningful incentives for sustainable behaviors encompassing regulatory and market response (for all actors across supply chains), and combating greenwashing through transparency. One approach to navigating the highlighted problems is the United Nations Transparency Protocol (UNTP) a digital standard for supply chain traceability, transparency, and trust.
