Affected version

gh version 2.76.0 (2025-07-17)

Steps to reproduce the behavior

1. run 'gh pr merge "$pr_number" --repo "$repo_name" --squash --delete-branch'

Error is sporadic.

Expected vs actual behavior

Expected behavior: The branch is squashed, merged etc.
Actual behavior: The very useful error message that "Something went wrong".

Logs

I can't. It's a sporadic bug that cannot be reliably reproduced. I have included the magic number as requested, I guess it's something you guys can look up?
