A reactor can assume uranium or thorium that needs a special kind of vault to use. I'm making a plugin that contains a reactor that works like that but I didn't start yet. |

Reducing the cost of reactors while simultaneously giving them an operating cost could improve a number of balance issues:
The general ideas I've gone with for cost changes have been to reduce the price points so that the cost/energy is roughly the same over a 3 year period as it is now. In general operating cost increases as power increases, however for flavour and realism™ purposes fission reactors have been given higher operating costs with lower prices while fusion reactors have been given lower operating costs with higher price points. I've made exceptions to this in a few places, notably the Korath fusion reactors to make them give less infinite money.

A couple of things I haven't looked at is solar and battery costs, so if there are any thoughts as to if and/or how those should be changed please discuss.
