What happened?

When entering a datasource on an alertlist visualization for a dashboard that can utilize mulitple datasources, a configured variable is not accepted. Entering a specific datasource functions as expected.

What did you expect to happen?

known variable configuration would allow datasource to be dynamically selected from a datasource pull-down configured on the dashboard.

How do we reproduce it?

1. Create prometheus datasource(s)
2. Create a dashboard-specific variable to select from the available prometheus datasources
3. Create an alertlist visualization
4. Attempt to enter the ${datasource} variable created on the dashboard within the datasource field
