Problem: When alert states are persisted to the database the Error field is not persisted. This means on startup (i.e. state cache warm) any alert states that were in the Error state lose the message shown in the UI that gives more info on the error that occurred.

Solve: Persist the Error field, or save the message to a field that is persisted already.
