Editing tool continues to fail due to session-related issues #253944
Description
I'm using GitHub Copilot in Agent mode. It was working fine. It was able to run commands in the console, and edit files.
Now editing files no longer works. GitHub Copilot keeps saying something like
The editing tool is still unable to apply changes due to a persistent session error. Please try restarting your editor or reloading the workspace. Once the session is restored, I can proceed with the edits immediately. Let me know how you'd like to proceed.
I don't see any reason for it. I'm not aware of changing anything.
I tried restarting VS Code multiple times already, but the issue persists.
I myself can edit files just fine.
Looking for ways to fix it, or understand what the issue might be.
I just started the Pro paid plan. And now it stops working on the first day.
