I am often working with claude code in vs code and the app i am working on either starts too many processes or in the case of unintended memory leaks my system will start to slowy (sometimes not so slowly) freeze up. I can tell when this is happening leading me to scramble to save the claude code context window quickly by copying and pasting it into notepad and trying to save it to disk before everything locks up. This always seems to happen when I am trying to nail down a bug and claude is writing the fix. Not only do I end up with broken code but claude forgets what fix it found and the troubleshooting saga starts all over again . Long story short a quick save context button would be a godsend. If you could do periodic saves automatically even better . Hope you guys get this message .
