Unable to Copy Text in Chat History Edit Mode #257598

Description
When using the new chat history editing feature in GitHub Copilot, if you select a previous conversation and enter edit mode, you cannot copy any text from the editor. This affects both the right-click context menu “Copy” option and standard keyboard shortcuts (such as Ctrl+C). No matter how you select the text, the copy operation does not work, making it difficult to reuse or share information from previous chats.
Steps to Reproduce
Open GitHub Copilot and access the chat history.
Select a previous conversation and enter edit mode.
Try to select any text in the editor.
Attempt to copy the selected text using the context menu or keyboard shortcuts.
Observe that the text is not copied to the clipboard.
Expected Behavior
Selected text in the chat history edit mode should be copyable using both the context menu and keyboard shortcuts.
