VS Code will not update (stuck on preparing to install page) #43949

- OS Version: Windows_NT x64 10.0.16299

Steps to Reproduce:
- Press update and the VSCode process stops responding and never installs update.
This also happens when I install the newest version from online and try to install without uninstalling.
I also have this issue on the other computer on the Windows Insider Build. I can post that OS version if needed since it happens on both.
If it helps, the VSCode process that stops says VSCodex32 bit which seems a bit odd since the version I have is 64 bit.
