Optimization of the Live Contest-Logging feature #2216

Hi,

first of all, thank you for the great work on Wavelog — I really enjoy using the Live Contest-Logging feature and it works very well for my needs.

I have two suggestions that could improve usability during contests:

1. Callsign suggestions behavior
When entering a callsign, the callsign suggestions are shown in a rather large list. In my experience, this list often becomes quite long and cluttered, without offering much useful information (at least for me) during a contest. Additionally, when the suggestions expand, the contest logbook is pushed down and sometimes disappears from view entirely.

Since the contest logbook contains the more relevant information for me during contesting, I would prefer if the suggestions were either:

  • made collapsible,
  • or optionally disabled completely in the settings.

2. More flexible logbook view (e.g. frequency column, optional fields)
It would also be great if the contest logbook view could include the frequency of each QSO.
Ideally, there could be an option to customize which columns are shown. For example, I never use the “VUCC Gridsquare” field, and it always remains empty for me — so it would be helpful to hide that field and display something more relevant instead (like frequency).

Would it be possible to implement such a setting or modify the behavior?

Thanks again for this great tool!
