The setup is intended to realistically mimic a physical body with a specific heat capacity, a measurement delay, and an input delay + low pass filter (heater delay) for more realism. This is a simple PID simulator I wrote in .NET, created to get a feel of how to tune a PID by adjusting the various properties. -

The DarkLight Cover/Calibrator (DLC) is a DIY project to build a motorized telescope cover, flat panel, or a combination flip-flat system. Its modular design supports various setups: a 12V light panel without a servo for a wall-mounted calibration panel, a servo-only cover for sky flats, or both integrated into a flip-flat mechanism. The DLC also includes optional dew heating to reduce extra equipment and cabling. With available drivers, it works with ASCOM or INDI. Crystalsim is a simple freeware program with a neat graphical user interface for X-ray diffraction (XRD) data analysis . It can simulates all possible {hkl} planes data for the selected crystal. Crystallographic Information File (.cif) can also be used. Analyze both powder diffraction and single crystal data . Indexed at International Union of Crystallography (IUCR). You: either drag and drop MSP files onto the window, or pass filenames though a command line argument. Command line arguments: /? displays help information /f anything following is a file you want to process. Things you should know: Change what things in the MSP get mapped into a new name in the MGF in Settings. Anything not on the mapping list is mapped through unaltered. And if this doesn't mean anything to you then this probably isn't the app for you -

This is a ActiveX/ATL component that shows molecular structures in 3D. It can read atomistic .pdb and .xyz file formats. This control is made very simple and flexible. It may be useful for chemists or other scientists to put molecular structures in presentations such as power point, with the ability to rotate or zoom using the mouse. It can also be used in developing graphical user interface for molecular calculations, and in any programming IDE that allows insertion of ActiveX controls. The models are rendered using OpenGL, therefore it exploits optimizations provided by the graphics cards. NEW: Render as PNG with transparent background. GenomeRunner is a tool for automating genome exploration. It performs annotation and enrichment analyses of user-provided genomic regions (SNPs, ChIP-seq binding sites etc.) against >6,000 (human genome) epigenomic features available from the UCSC genome browser. Input - any genome-wide data data in .bed format (tab-delimited text file with chrom, chromStart, chromEnd). Annotation analysis output - detailed annotation of each genomic region in input data. Used to prioritize individual genomic regions by the total number of epigenomic features they co-localize with. Enrichment analysis output - p-values of statistically significant co-localizations of input genome-wide data with genome annotation features selected for the analysis. Used to prioritize epigenomic features associated with user data. -
