Our intern program is back, now with the option to work in-person in NYC or Zurich. Looking for security researchers who are curious, skilled, and integrity driven → Last year, we launched AR’s intern program with the goal of giving talented security researchers real work, a sense of ownership, and exposure to important problems. The result exceeded our expectations. The program wrapped up with our interns joining us at DEF CON in Las Vegas, experiencing the security community in person and shipping work they were proud to put their names on. This year, we’re offering the option to work in-person at either our new NYC office or in Zurich (encouraged, not required). Example projects: -Applying fuzzing techniques to blockchain validators -Writing decompilers for novel architectures -Building real-time security monitoring systems -Developing static analysis tools for smart contract runtimes Our ideal intern is: -Deeply curious -Strong programmer in Rust, C, Go, or Python -Driven by integrity and technical rigor Bonus experience: CTFs, vulnerability research, or blockchain systems like Ethereum, Solana, Cosmos, or Move Work with a team that has built security programs at Google, Netflix, Mozilla, Stripe, Solana, and more. Last year showed us that this program draws high-caliber people who are serious about security work. Excited to do it again, this time in person. Apply: https://lnkd.in/gCDz_SaP

Asymmetric Research and OtterSec have established a shared leadership structure that aligns both teams while each continues to operate independently. This is an important step for our work. Security demands across blockchains have grown, and projects now operate on systems where design choices, runtime behavior, and operational decisions are tightly linked. This new leadership structure strengthens how both groups support every layer of a project’s needs. Research, engineering, audits, monitoring, and incident response will move with clearer direction and better coordination. AR’s long-term, embedded model remains the same. We’re focused on guiding clients through full system design, ongoing development, and high-pressure situations. With two technical groups working in sync under one leadership direction, clients will get even better support across their entire security stack. Full press release: 🔗 https://lnkd.in/gsQTwhmE

Now Live: Asymmetric Research x DoubleZero Co-Branded Validator on Solana 🔥 We believe in a globally distributed network. DoubleZero Foundation’s Delegation Program gives operators in underrepresented regions the infra and support they need to be competitive, and we’re proud to be part of it. This validator builds on our long-standing history with DoubleZero, with AR being one of the first external teams to connect to their network. The launch of this validator is another step toward our shared goal of strengthening Solana's core infrastructure and making the network more resilient and performant.
