Aims and scope

EJNMMI Reports is the inclusive science journal of the EJNMMI journal family. It is a peer-reviewed open access journal, following international research integrity standards.

The editorial process of EJNMMI Reports does not focus on the extent of the advance of the submitted papers. All valid research with clinical and translational relevance in the field of Nuclear Medicine (including longer and brief reports, negative and positive results, provocative topics, data & protocol descriptors) will be considered, see formats considered below.

EJNMMI Reports publishes scientific articles that are of interest to the nuclear medicine and molecular imaging community and cover diagnostics and therapy within all subfields in this subject area. The journal aims at providing clinical as well as scientific information that is useful for all relevant imaging and clinical communities as well as allied professions.

The journal considers various article types like original research articles, brief communications on novel preliminary approaches, reports on originals, case reports, pictorial essays, reviews and educational material, guidelines published by experts from different clinical and research disciplines, editorials, and letters to the editor.

Important Note
Since January 1st, 2024 the European Journal of Hybrid Imaging changed its title and is now EJNMMI Reports. Please note that the journal has an impact factor and the impact factor 2023 is 1.7.

The impact factor is currently still found in Clarivate’s JCR/ESCI under the previous title European Journal of Hybrid Imaging. According to the definition of the impact factor the new title EJNMMI Reports will only be reflected, when published content as of 2024 is included into the impact factor calculation.
Based on that procedure the journal will have “half” an impact factor in 2025 under European Journal of Hybrid Imaging and “half” an impact factor under EJNMMI Reports.
In 2026 there will be the full impact factor under EJNMMI Reports, and no longer one for European Journal of Hybrid Imaging.
